Modul'X

PRESENTATION:

Modul'X is a modular solution that allows successful urbanisation of computer rooms leading to controlled operations.

Modul'X is constituted mainly of several back-to-back racks equipped at the rear with shared containment.

Hydro-chilled doors ensure the extraction of the hot air contained in the shared area to restore it in the room at the desired temperature (depending on the user setpoint).

The sharing of the rear containments ensures the redundancy level N+1, N+2, 2N.

PRINCIPLE:

The air in the room is extracted by the servers. It is then discharged hot in the rear contained part of the racks.

HYDRO-CHILLED doors installed in the rear part of the Modul'x extract this hot air to cool it via an air/water exchanger and release it in the room following a "user" setpoint.

The hydro-chilled doors are derived from the THD range and have 2 systems with independent and optimised regulation.

ADVANTAGES:

  • Flexibility to fit out the rooms as required
  • Reduction of the volume of air and speed of processing hot areas => to 50% less volume of air, or + thermal efficiency
  • Quick and economic installation without changes in the aisle containments (roofs, door, etc.)
  • Compatible with all detection and fire extinguishing systems
  • No removal of aisle roofs for intervention on the ducting of overhead cables or room lighting
  • No sliding doors in the aisle (no annual maintenance of these)
