Aisle Cooling Module
PRINCIPLE:
The warmed air coming from the servers is blown into the contained hot aisle.
The ACM modules measure the differential pressure between the aisle and the room.
ADVANTAGES
Optimised regulation:
- Regulation of the air flow by measuring the aisle/room differential pressure, and submission of the flow of the exchanger to the actual flow rate of the servers: no disturbance to the proper regulation of equipment
- This principle also provides automatic redundancy between the different modules of the same aisle: in the case of stopping an ACM, the flow rate of the others increases automatically
- Regulation of the flow of water by 2 or 3 channel proportional valve
- Output temperature chosen by setpoint assigned via web page
- No jerks on the pumps of the water circuit: overall constant flow.
- Losses of water loads lower than 1 bar under 7m3/hr
- Management by programmable logic controller with possible extensions in:
- ModBus RTU
- Modbus TCP/IP
- SNMP
- Dry contact
